Lorrie Polesky
Lorrie likes almost any movie that Dustin Hoffman is in. Some of her favorites are Rainman, Marathon Man, Kramer vs. Kramer, and Tootsie.
Years ago Lorrie went to France as a student. Everything was new and interesting to her. She was impressed by the efficiency of their pubic transportation, their rich history, and the many small shops.
In the Spring Lorrie took the UW-Stout online course E-Learning for Educators which she says was a good foundation for our assessment course. Lorrie has taken several other UW-Stout online education courses so she is comfortable finding her way around Desire 2 Learn platform.
Brenda W. Mickens
Brenda has an on online retail business that features invitations, gifts, party favors, ceremonial attire and accessories. Since it is sometimes difficult to find multicultural invitations, gifts, ceremonial attire, etc. Brenda hopes to offer more choices for those who want it. This is her first online course and she hopes to design and teach online courses. Her background is student and staff development, and she wants to make that type of training accessible online.
I enjoyed our conversations and I found reading everyones interviews a great way to learn about my classmates.
