Assessment: Teacher-centered or Learner-centered? I find that I am much more learner centered in my teaching and in my learning. I was very fortunate in having many learner centered instructors who could challange me. As a student I always became bored and did poorly when faced with teachers who had been teaching the same way for 30 years and contiuousely just spouted information that could be read in a book. When I am teaching I find I learn so much from my students. It is amazing to teach a class where the students enlighten each other as well as the instructor. They need only a few facts and guidence to seek knowledge.
